Nature’s Choice Landscaping specializes in providing “Full Service” landscape maintenance. Full service means that we will take care of everything regarding the exterior landscape of a property.
A typical full service landscape maintenance package would include mulch replenishment, turf fertilization, lawn mowing, annual flowers, weed control (non-turf), tree and shrub pruning, irrigation maintenance (including start up and winterization) and snow removal.
We do offer some services on a stand alone basis outside of a full service package. We also perform landscape design and installation services as well as irrigation system design and installation. Below is a brief description of our most common landscape services.
Mulch Replenishment
All mulch beds and tree rings will be edged (if applicable) and two to three inches of hardwood mulch will be installed.

Turf Fertilization
Nature’s Choice Landscaping follows a five step fertilization schedule recommended by the Purdue University. All applicators are state licensed as required by law.

Mowing
All equipment used by Nature’s Choice Landscaping is professional grade and is regularly maintained in order to provide the highest quality mowing service. Our crews are trained not to mow over trash, put excessive clippings in mulch beds or on cars. All areas will be trimmed or edged with every mowing and the grass will be “striped” (similar to a baseball field). In other words we put every emphasis on attention to detail in order to provide the highest quality mowing service possible.
Mowing is done on an as needed basis; on irrigated properties mowing will typically be done weekly all season long. On non-irrigated properties mowing will be done on a seven to ten day interval as required by current weather conditions.

Annual Flowers
Annual flowers can be planted in order to provide color enhancement to any property.

Weed Control (non-turf)
Nature’s Choice Landscaping will keep your mulch or rock beds weed free as well as sidewalks and parking lots. This service is usually performed on a weekly basis.

Tree and Shrub Pruning
Shrubs and low branches on trees are typically pruned twice a year; once in early summer or late spring and then again in the fall. All trees and shrubs on the property will be pruned.

Irrigation Maintenance
Nature’s Choice Landscaping can perform system start up, winterization and any repairs that your irrigation system might need as well as backflow testing.
